📋 Vacancy & Salary Details

The recruitment is for a specialized Chair position to encourage study and research in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR).

• Post Name: IPR-Professor-Chair
• Monthly Emoluments: Consolidated Rs. 1.5 Lakh per month.
• Increment: An annual increment of 3% on the current remuneration will be granted upon completion of each 12-month period.
• Term: Initial term of 5 years, extendable for a further term of 5 years.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet one of the following criteria to be eligible for appointment:

1.   Academic Background: Has served as, or meets eligibility for, Professor/Associate Professor (as per UGC) with sufficient teaching/research experience in IPR.

2.   Legal/Professional Background: An IP Attorney practicing IPR law for minimum 10 years OR a professional with significant recognition in IPR field with minimum 10 years experience.

3.   Retired Official: A retired official of the IP Office under CGPDTM, holding a Doctorate degree, with minimum 5 years experience at Level 12 or above (e.g., Controller of Patent & Design, Registrar of Trademarks/GI/Copyrights).

Age Limit: Any individual above the age of 70 years shall not be eligible.
