📝 Important instructions for candidates on the waiting list

1.    Being on the list is not automatic appointment. When called, you must appear with the call-letter and original documents.

2.    You will need a medical fitness certificate and a No-Objection/clearance certificate from the concerned police station at the time of joining.

3.    If you fail to appear when called, or you withdraw, you may lose the opportunity — GSRTC will follow the waiting list order for further selection.

4.    If you changed your name/spelling in multiple applications and multiple call-letters were generated, you must present valid photo-ID at OMR/physical stages so GSRTC can match the correct record.

5.    Selected candidates must serve a minimum of 5 years in the allotted depot/department; inter-department transfer normally will not be allowed during this period. After 5 years and on satisfactory service, regularization procedures will follow as per GSRTC rules.

When GSRTC issues a selection/appointment call, you will be required to present original documents such as:

·         Photo identity (Aadhaar / Voter ID / Driving Licence / PAN)

·         SSC / HSC (10th / 12th) mark sheets & certificates used in application

·         Category / caste certificate (if applicable) — as per the prescribed format on GSRTC site

·         Divyang disability certificate (if applicable) — as per medical board categories accepted by GSRTC

·         Medical fitness certificate from authorised medical officer and police clearance (“no objection”) where required

Important: For candidates from other states whose mark sheets required verification, appointment will be processed only after verification of that external mark sheet.

⚕️ Medical criteria for candidates with specific disability types

GSRTC states that candidates with certain disability types (for example: One Arm (OA), One Leg (OL), Both Arm (BA), Both Leg (BL), One Arm-Leg combinations, etc.) will be considered for appointment based on the medical board opinion. Final decision will depend on medical fitness and suitability for the job.
