Gujarat Vidyapith is recruiting candidates for 1 Assistant Professor post on a purely temporary and contractual basis for 11 months or completion of semester under advertisement number 09/2026-27. Detailed educational qualifications for Computer Science:
- A Master's degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever grading system is followed) in Computer Science or allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
- Must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET, or awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with UGC Regulations 2009/2016 (exemptions apply as per UGC norms).
- OR B.E. / B.Tech and ME / M.Tech / M.S. or Integrated M.Tech with at least one degree either at UG or PG level in relevant discipline with first class/equivalent credits (marks) at UG and PG in any one of the degrees.
- OR B.E. / B.Tech. and MCA with First Class or equivalent credits (marks) in any one of the two degrees.
- OR Graduation of three years' duration and MCA with First Class or equivalent credits (marks) with two years of relevant professional industry experience after acquiring degree of MCA (two years professional experience exempted for Ph.D. degree holders in relevant discipline, and one year experience exempted for MCA of three years duration or graduation of four years duration).
- OR Ph.D. in relevant/allied discipline with First Class in MCA or direct Ph.D. with first class B.E. / B.Tech. in relevant discipline.
Selection process: - selection will be based on a walk-in-interview.
