ISRO Apprentice Recruitment 2026: The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), U R Rao Satellite Centre (URSC), Bengaluru, has released the ISRO Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Notification (Advertisement No. URSC:03:2026) for engagement of Graduate, Technician (Diploma), and Commercial Practice Apprentices for the training year 2026-27. A total of 410 Apprentice vacancies have been announced under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for one year of apprenticeship training.

URSC Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Stream | Essential Qualification |
Graduate Apprenticeship | B.E./B.Tech. in the concerned discipline from any recognized University |
Technician Apprenticeship | Diploma in the respective discipline from a recognized State Board |
Commercial Practice Apprenticeship | Diploma in Commercial Practice from a recognized Board |
Only candidates who have passed out in the years 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, or 2026 are eligible to apply. Candidates who cleared their qualifying examination before 2021 are not eligible. Only those who completed the qualifying examination as regular candidates can apply - candidates with sandwich course, certificate, private college degree, or short-term/certificate course qualifications are not acceptable, and candidates currently pursuing higher studies are also not eligible.
URSC Apprentice 2026 Salary Structure
Selected apprentices will receive a fixed monthly stipend as per their stream: ₹12,300/- per month for Graduate Apprentices (B.E./B.Tech.), and ₹10,900/- per month for both Technician Apprentices (Diploma) and Commercial Practice Apprentices.

These are engagement terms for a fixed-duration apprenticeship and do not constitute regular employment with URSC or ISRO.
URSC Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
- Candidates will be shortlisted based on their percentage of marks in the respective discipline
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for Document Verification
- On successful completion of document verification, a panel will be drawn based on academic scores in the Degree/Diploma
- Induction of apprentices against vacant positions will be made strictly based on the candidate's position in the panel
- Selected candidates will be informed only through email
- Candidates shortlisted for document verification are not eligible for Travelling Allowance
How to Apply Online for URSC Apprentice Recruitment 2026?
1. Visit the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal at https://nats.education.gov.in and register/enroll as a candidate
2. Upload the Degree/Diploma certificate (as applicable) and a valid government-issued ID during enrolment
3. Note the Enrolment Number/Apprenticeship Registration Number generated after successful registration on the NATS portal
4. Visit the UMANG portal at https://web.umang.gov.in/landing/ and register/log in
5. Search for "URSC Apprenticeship" on the UMANG portal
6. Click on Apply for Position and fill in all the required details, compulsorily including the NATS Enrolment Number/Apprenticeship Registration Number
7. Upload the required documents (photograph, signature, certificates, caste/EWS/disability certificate as applicable)
8. Review all entered details carefully, since no changes are allowed once the application is submitted
9. Submit the application before the closing date, 28 August 2026 (11:59 Hrs)
