(B) Possess a Bachelor’s degree of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry or “bachelor’s degree of Veterinary Science” obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India; or any other Educational institution recognised as such or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956; and have been recognised under Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984 or a recognized veterinary qualification included in the first schedule or second schedule of the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984;

 (C) Possesses the basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967; and

(D) Possesses adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or Both

(E) The Candidate appointed by direct selection shall be required to get himself registered with the Gujarat Veterinary Council or Veterinary council of India under the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984 at the time of his appointment, if he/she is not so registered.

ગુજરાત જાહેર સેવા આયોગ GPSC ભરતી 2026 અરજી ફી

બિન અનામત વર્ગના ઉમેદવારોએ, જો તેઓ પોસ્ટ ઑફિસમાં ફી ભરે તો રૂ. ૧૦૦ + પોસ્ટલ ચાર્જીસ તથા ઓનલાઈન ફી ભરે તો રૂ. ૧૦૦ + સર્વિસ ચાર્જીસ ફી ભરવાની રહેશે. અનામત વર્ગના ઉમેદવારો (માત્ર મૂળ ગુજરાતના આર્થિક રીતે નબળાં વર્ગો, સામાજિક અને શૈક્ષણિક રીતે પછાત વર્ગ, અનુસૂચિત જાતિ અને અનુસૂચિત જનજાતિ) તથા દિવ્યાંગ ઉમેદવારો અને માજી સૈનિકોને ફી ભરવામાંથી મુક્તિ આપવામાં આવેલ છે. જેથી તેમણે કોઈ ફી ભરવાની રહેતી નથી.

 

ગુજરાત જાહેર સેવા આયોગ GPSC ભરતી પસંદગી પ્રક્રિયા:

Exam Pattern: Candidates will be selected for appointment to these posts by conducting a Preliminary test and interview. Candidates will be declared eligible for the interview after scrutinizing the required applications as per the Preliminary test marks. If the candidate gets less than 15% marks in the Preliminary test, he/she will not be considered eligible for interview. The medium of this test will be decided by the Commission. The Preliminary test will usually be held at Gandhinagar/ Ahmedabad and candidates will have to be present at their own expense. The Preliminary test will consist of 100 questions of 100 marks of General Studies and 200 questions of 200 marks of the Respective Subject.Total 300 questions of 300 marks. Time Duration for Preliminary test will be 180 minutes.

 

(3) The Weighted Marks of Preliminary Test & Interview are calculated as follows: ‐ [Marks obtained in P.T. X 50/300 = Weighted Marks of Preliminary Test] + [Marks obtained in Interview X 50/100 = Weighted Marks of Interview] = Total Weighted Marks.

(4) The syllabus of a Preliminary Test for various posts are available on the Commission's website http://gpsc.gujarat.gov.in

(5) The candidates should produce formula/method of calculation of percentage where percentage of marks is not given by the University.

(6) If the candidate has obtained a foreign university degree / experience, then he / she will have to submit the necessary evidence / evidence regarding the validity / equivalence of such degree position in India. Candidates are informed to take note that presenatation of the matter in this regard will not be considered after the prescribed time limit.

(7) Candidates shall remain present at each stage of Recruitment process, otherwise his/her candidature shall be cancelled.

(8) Application Fees: - Candidates of General (Unreserved) category have to pay Rs. 100/- +applicable postal charges or Rs. 100/- + Service Charges through online mode as Application Fees. While Candidates belonging to reserved categories and Economically Weaker Section of Unreserved category of Gujarat State, Ex-Servicemen and physically disabled candidates have not to pay application fees. While candidates of reserved category of other states have to pay application fee.
