Orthopaedic Surgeon/Radiologist/Psychiatrist

(A) Possess a degree of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery or as the case may be Bachelor of Dental Surgery of any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India; or any other educational institutions recognised as such or declared to be a deemed University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 (3 of 1956) or possess any other an equivalent qualification specified in the National Medical Commission Act, 2019; or as the case may be possess an equivalent qualification recognized by Dental Council of India; and

 (B) (i) Post-Graduate Degree in respective subject as shown in the Annexure against the each post, obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India; or possess an equivalent qualifications recognized by the National Medical Commission or as the case may be possess an equivalent qualification recognized by Dental Council of India or a degree of Diplomate of National Board awarded by the National Board of Examinations; or

 (ii) a post-graduate diploma in respective subject as shown in the Annexure against the each post obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in Page 5 India; or possess an equivalent qualifications recognized by the National Medical Commission; or as the case may be possess an equivalent qualification recognized by Dental Council of India and have about two years’ experience in respective subject in Government / Local Bodies / Government Undetaking / Board / Corporation / Limited Company established under Companies Act, 2013 / Registered Non-Governmental Organisation / Government Hospital / Trust Hospital / Private Hospital.

Orthopaedic Surgeon

M.S. (Orthopaedics) or Diplomate of National Board or Post Graduate Diploma in Orthopaedic

Radiologist

A. academic qualifications as specified in the Annexures (below) against each subject obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognised as such or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognised by the Medical Council of India; and

B. (i) have at least three years teaching experience as Associate Professor, Class-I in the concerned subject as specified in Annexure-I (below) in a permitted / approved / recognised medical college / institutions with four research publications in Indexed Journal on cumulative basis with minimum of two research publications during the tenure of Associate Professor, Class-I as first author or as corresponding author along with eight years of experience after Post Graduation; or

(ii) have at least three years teaching experience as Associate Professor, Class-I in the concerned subject as specified in Annexure-II in a permitted / approved / recognised medical college / institutions with four research publications in Indexed Journal on Cumulative basis with minimum of two research publications during the tenure of Associate Page 11 Professor, Class I as first author or as corresponding author along with five years of Post Super Speciality Experience

 For Super Speciality Subjects: (ii) have at least two years experience as Assistant Professor, Class I in the concerned subject as specified in Annexure (below) in a permitted /approved/recognised medical college / institutions with two research publications in indexed journals as first Author or as corresponding author along with two years Post Super Specialty experience.

Orthopaedics

Radio-Therapy

B. possess at least three years teaching experience as Junior Resident / Registrar / Demonstrator or Tutor in the concerned Subject and one-year senior resident in the concerned subject as specified in the Annexure at recognized / approved / permitted Medical college as prescribed below:

I. for the Candidate possessing MD or MS or DNB degree in the Subject as specified in the Annexure from Medical Council of India recognised Medical College or Institute and have three years teaching experience in the Concerned Subject as Junior Resident in a MCI recognised Medical Colleges attached Medical Hospitals or Institute in the concerned subject and one year teaching experience as Senior Resident after obtaining MD or MS or DNB degree in the concerned subject in a Medial Council of India recognised Government Medical College, attached Medical Hospitals or Institute.

II. for the Candidate possessing DNB degree in the Subject as specified in the Annexure-I from other than Medical Council of India recognised Medical College or Institute and have three years teaching experience as Junior Resident in a recognised Government Medical Colleges attached Medical Hospitals or Institute in the concerned subjects after obtaining DNB degree and one year teaching experience as Senior Resident in the concerned subject in recognised Government Medical Colleges attached Medical Hospitals or Institute.

III. for the Candidate possessing MBBS with M.Sc. (Medical) or M.Sc. with Ph.D. or M.Sc. with D.Sc. degree in the subject specified in the Annexure-I shall have three years teaching experience as Junior Resident / Registrar / Demonstrator or Tutor in the concerned subject in a recognised Government Medical Colleges attached Medical Hospitals or Institute and one year teaching experience as Senior Resident in the concerned subject in a recognised Government Medical Colleges attached Medical Hospitals or Institute.

ગુજરાત પબ્લિક સર્વિસ કમિશન (GPSC) ભરતી 2025 અરજી ફી

Application Fees: Candidates of General (Unreserved) category have to pay Rs. 100/- + applicable postal charges or in case of Online Payment, Rs. 100/- + Service charges as Application Fees, while Candidates belonging to reserved categories and Economically Weaker Section of Gujarat State, Ex-serviceman and Person with Disability have not to pay application fees. While candidates of reserved category of other states have to pay application fees.

 

ગુજરાત પબ્લિક સર્વિસ કમિશન (GPSC) ભરતી પસંદગી પ્રક્રિયા:

(1) The Candidate shall be required to get himself registered in a State Medical Council/Dental Register under the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956/Dental Council Act, 1948 at the time of making application for direct selection, if he is not so registered

 (2) Preliminary Exam Pattern: A paper of Concerned Subject of 200 marks. Duration: 180 minutes. As per the Instruction/Provision of the Commission, the candidates who possess less than 25% marks in Preliminary Test shall not be eligible for Interview. Of which, the candidates of SC & ST categories, who possess less than 20% marks in Preliminary Test shall not be eligible for Interview.

(3) The Candidate shall possess prescribed educational qualification and experience required under the recruitment rules on the date decided by the Commission before interview
