Should possess a first-class Masters Degree in Library and Information Science from a recognized University.

Good Communication Skills in English, Basic working knowledge of IT and IT-related applications used in libraries, KOHA will be an added advantage.

Selection of the candidates will be done through a written test and interview. The written test will be in English.

Research Manager for “ESAF Chair for Business on Values”

The candidate should hold a master’s degree in fields such as Sociology, Management, Philosophy, and allied fields. Prior work experience in relevant area would be an advantage. Since the focus of the work is on ethics and values, it is expected that the candidate would demonstrate a keen interest in related knowledge domain.

Selection criteria:

• Basic knowledge of research methodologies and analysis techniques (qualitative and quantitative)

• Experience of writing proposals and conducting studies.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and software to analyse qualitative data.

The maximum age limit is 26 years.

Research Manager for “ESAF Chair for Business on Values”

The applicants age should preferably be under 30 years of age.

Remuneration

Trainee (Library)

Stipend: A monthly stipend of Rs. 15,000/- shall be offered to the selected candidate.

Research Manager for “ESAF Chair for Business on Values”

The consolidated remuneration will be in the range of Rs. 50,000-Rs.55,000/- per month commensurate with the candidate’s qualification, experience, and fit with the position.
